THE USS VAN CITTERS
One of many actually enjoyable moments was the looks of a Sovereign-class cruiser that defends the Cerritos from the Aledo: the USS Van Citters. John Van Citters is the Vice-President of Star Trek Model Improvement, and this can be a tribute to him.
“John Van Citters is the perfect,” McMahan says. “I met John once I was writing my ebook, Warped. He opened up all the CBS archives for me so I might pull pictures for the ebook. He’s such an amazing useful resource and he loves Star Trek. I mentioned that if I’m going to be kicking the shit out of a giant, fancy starship, it’s going to be referred to as the Van Citters.”
McMahan additionally credit different specialists like Dayton Ward and Dr. Erin Macdonald as nice sources of data who lend their data, experience, and expertise to the accuracy of the present.
“Star Trek is a lot greater than me,” he says. “Once I began Decrease Decks, I beloved ships with all these technical particulars – there was a lot to study, like all of the completely different sizes and courses of ships.
